On my CD, I play a 1969 Ovation Legend and a1972 Martin twelve-string (slide-guitar) through a 1965 Fender Pro Reverb (vintage). I utilize a back-sliding technique introduced to me by Sonny Landreth. SOOOOOO....COOOOOOL......! ! ! ! ! ! The CD is called "Bayou Self" recorded at Rick Naiser's "Festival Studios" in New Orleans. Upbeat songs,uplifting ballads, entertaining and relaxing , or so I am told.
My latest project, temporarily interupted by hurricane Katrrina, will be out soon. Drumming legends Johnny Vidacovich (Professor Longhair & Astral Project) and Harold Brown (WAR & LOW-RIDERS) are helping out, as well as a wide assortment of great local talent, new pioneers.I haven' t received any Grammy nominations, but some of these guys have !
