Hello and thanks for visiting my My Space Page!
I'm an artist/songwriter currently residing in the City of Chicago, although I have lived on both Coasts.
I have recurring dreams of Elvis Presley and John Lennon. In other dreams it is 1965 and I'm watching the Beatles perform a song that doesn't exist. I only wish I could remember how it went. Then I wake up a bit down because we seem to be living in a frightening time where old dreams are dying.
I love and hate music. How can this be? Like an aroma, it can be enchanting or it can be god awful. Generally speaking, over the past few decades the smell has gotten pretty bad. I turn on the boob tube and am deluged with news that has no insight, performers with no talent and critics with questionnable taste. I turn it off (or switch the channel to Jon Stewart)...
I love poetry! Especially the lines that somehow magically touch on a simple truth or mystery. I love songs that somehow do the same. As time goes by I've tried to do this myself.
