"Bobbert’s catchy songs remind you of the Beatles in a zinged out way with a mix of the Oompa Loompas' catchy rhyming. The illustrations of Bobbert are fantastic.”
– A Child Grows in Brooklyn
“Even though kid music should be first and foremost about pleasing the kids, it’s a relief when some of our favorite bands put their toe into the genre so parents don’t have to hold their ears while the little ones get down.”- Babble.com
"It's as if The Beatles and The Shins morphed into a one-man-mad-scientist-band (it's the lab coat) with a bubble machine as a sidekick.” – Out with the Kids
In 2007, Schneider made his debut on the big screen in the Mike Myers' vehicle "The Love Guru" where he enjoyed a cameo role and producing a song for the film. The Apples in stereo's two most recent CDs for indie grownups - New Magnetic Wonder and Electronic Projects For Musicians, have been tremendous successes and are co-released through actor Elijah Wood's Simian Records, Yep Roc Records and The Elephant 6 Recording Company.
