Benz aka Nokturnal Noize productions, was born in Nairobi, Kenya. He moved to Oxford at the tender age of six and has been there ever since.
He has been in the local scene for over two years now and has supported some of Hip-hop’s biggest names such as Skinnyman, The X-Ecutioners, KRS-One and Poisonous Poets to name just a few.
He started his MC career performing at Oxford Underground nights with Squids Inc. This led to an appearance on the Blunted L.M.F.LH vol 1 with ‘Rollin with the Squids’.
Over the last two years he has been performing regularly around Oxford as a solo artist and formed the collective ‘Rhymerz Anonymous’. The collective consisted of four MC’s and a Beatboxer as well as production from Heavily Zooted, 3rd Eye and Benz.
He has now been signed to a local independant record label by the name of Pocket Aces. Look out for the Pocket Aces mixtape due late spring/ early summer.
