"Modern day troubadour" best describes Karl Stephen Brunig, according to his producer, legendary R&B drummer Dave Williams. He is a musical visionary who pens scores of vivid and colorful songs derived from life experiences and dreams. His latest single "Lady Red, White, and Blue" taps into the historic and contemporary essence of our love for freedom and liberty in America. The song is a strong inspirational ballad which crescendos to a passionate patriotic bridge and a bittersweet conclusion.The song, featured in the HMG Nashville Radio Compilation CD #163, charted at #83 on the July 2010 Power Source Christian/Country Top 100.
Karl has shared his music in New York urban churches, a Haitian mission and a Texas homeless shelter where he enthusiastically led worship. These times of service have given him the key to break out of the crowd with a fervent voice and a message of encouragement to a weary world, as exhibited in his two recent CD’s.
Now, living under a Texas sky, Karl is currently working on a new collection of songs called "Love Songs and Life Stories," that includes "Lady Red, White, and Blue.
