• Ty Fleming has been playing and singing out of Columbia NC for 12 years . He played in his first bar at the age of 15 with the Alpha Band. Since then he has played festivals, pig pickins, parties, bars, anywhere they'd let him.   Ty Fleming has been playing and singing out of Columbia NC for 12 years . He played in his first bar at the age of 15 with the Alpha Band. Since then he has played festivals, pig pickins, parties, bars, anywhere they'd let him. He and Brandan Brickhouse played as an acoustic duo for a while and then picked up Mike Caleo and Chris Swain and formed the Great Shoal Band. After quite a stint of gigs the Great Shoal Band pulled an "Eagles" and separated. Now he plays with the band Blackwater, but mostly does acoustic shows.
