Orange County Music Award Nominee Joe Nacco began his career 10 years ago with the indie-classic alt rock band HEAD. 6 solo albums later the two-homed Nacco remains Upstate NY's top recording artist and one of Huntington Beach's finest. Nacco has performed across the United States from L.A. to N.Y.C. playing with acts such as G. Love and Special Sauce and Rahzell. Nacco has won several Songwriting Awards and charted several times on Indie stations throughout the U.S. and Australia. Nacco has held several number one spots on Internet Radio.

After a two-year hiatus, 2008 brings the simultaneous release of two new albums No One Likes a Ballad (the quirky over-the-top 80's tinged rock and new-wave album recorded in Upstate NY) and This is California (a powerful and emotional indie-rock album recorded in Huntington Beach, CA with Nacco on ALL instruments).

No One Likes a Ballad features the hits "Faker," "Crazy Scientologist," "Drive Me Crazy," & "O Baby!" "Faker" is being featured in the Sundance Film Festival documentary Spitting Game: The College Hook Up. "Escape" and "On Your Side" have won honorable mentions in the 2007 Billboard Songwriting Contest.

This is California features the new smash-hit "Who You Once Were" as well as "Done Gone Crazy," "For You" & "Catch You." Awards and accolades pending...

These albums will be released May 1, 2008 in digital outlets and stores worldwide. Samples of tracks can be heard right here on MySpace!!

"This is the best album since the last one."
    -Paul Salamone

"After Requiem, I just wanted to do something crazy! So I just started recording all sorts of random sh*t and couldn't stop. Finally I ran out of space on my hard drive! I either had to release this thing or start taking songs off my iPod!!"
    -Joe Nacco

"Bigger, louder, bolder and more eccentric than ever!"
-Tommy Mottola (probably not talking about Joe Nacco, but he could be)

    "What is he, f&*$ing nuts?!?!"
-Bud Nacco (definitely talking about Joe Nacco)

"Joe obviously has talent and a good country/pop/rock sound."
    - David Brice, Radio Network, New Zealand

"If you're looking for a fresh new artist with talent up the wazoo, you've found him. For a kid that got his humble beginning in the Capital District in Upstate NY, I am astounded by the eclectic influences he exhibits."
    - Meghan Reilly, Impose Magazine

"He has a Beatlesque songwriting style that is all his own, combined with a distinctive voice that is instantly recognized."
    - Linda Fenoff, Greenville Press
