Hello Sound Sugar Music Fans, Artists & Site Management;
My name is Jenny D. and I work for MistaBluesman at his studio. I manage all of MistaBluesman's internet music sites (well over 150 sites) and CD's distribution.
I received a e-mail from Sound Sugar asking that MistaBluesman join Sound Sugar so I took a look at this site. I liked this site and decided to sign MistaBluesman up as a Sound Sugar artist.
Thank You Sound Sugar for that invite.
Well here's a cool addition to his profile. Yesterday I caught MistaBluesman out back of the studio working with the crews loading their trucks with gear for a gig in California, (MistaBluesman always plays Blues Soloist gigs for his friends in Studio City and Hollywood, Ca. every Christmas Season) I asked MistaBluesman if he would take a minute and look at Sound Sugar and maybe make a comment or two about the site so we could post something quoted directly from MistaBluesman on site. Well here it is, directly from Da' Man' MistaBluesman himself!!!!!

Sup' Good Peoples? After my checking out some of the artists on site here and listening to some really cool tracks I can honestly say, "I Dig Sound Sugar and love the site's name". All Blues peoples need a lil' Sugar now and then and if we can get a lil' sound with it, well that makes it even better baby!
I began posting music on the internet back in 1999. The time involved became so overwhelming I asked Jenny D. to come aboard to help me out and she has done a grand job finding music sites (OMD'S) that she (we) feel can actually generate fans for my music's internet exposure. Thank You Jenny D.!
In 1955 my Father & Mother, (Smokey & Lois) began teaching me to play the guitar. Both my Father & Mother were Blues musicians. From the very first day I held a guitar I have loved playing. The two photos below are from 1955 and 2005.

The Blues I play and perform is of my own concoction that developed over the years of playing different genres one plays while growing up. A lil' Rock & Roll, some Country and a lotta' Blues. Some good peoples have in the past called my sound, "MistaBluesman's Happy Blues"
So, with that said I guess I play a Sound Sugar Blues that picks up a man or woman that is feeling down and brings them into my sound of Happy Blues. I mean, isn't that what I am supposed to do with my Blues. Bring peoples feeling down and low up so they can better deal with whateva' it is that is making them feel Blue, (usually a lover). I think it is and that's exactly what I work my ass off to do. Fact has it that, I have been fifty three years trying to play a Blues sound that makes peoples feel better.
I love playing with a full band but what really makes me feel really good is to just sit down with my unplugged Washburn acoustic guitar and hammer out some original Blues instrumentals and vocals. That is the whip cream in the late' for me baby!
I have traveled the United States teaching peoples of all ages to play and love the guitar. I used to take off from my home and stay away for months just running the roads playing my Blues while stopping and taking the time to teach others how to play some Blues. I loved doing that but now days I rarely get to. Below is a photo of my 1929 all original Model A Ford pick-up & my 1991 Harley. I was loaded down, ready to hit the road jammin' my Blues and teaching others how to play the guitar.

Wow, Thanks MistaBluesman, We All Love You Too!
Some links to MistaBluesman's track notes, track samples, ringtones, photos, booking info, press kit and ect.
While reviewing MistaBluesman's track notes using the link above, if you find a track you would like to have here on site, just let us know and we will make it happen for you. As I do on most all of MistaBluesman's internet OMD's, you'll find track notes to the tracks uploaded here under the LYRICS tabs. I hardly never put MistaBluesman's lyrics up because he rarely performs his material EXACTLY like he done the times prior. He wings everything he does from his heart felt moments. I teasingly tell him he may have Alzheimer's Disease, (even though it's not a joking matter) and he say's no, it's called, "Old Timers Disease".
"Thank You All" - All of us here hope you enjoy MistaBluesman as much as we do. He is a blast to be associated with.

Yes, I do get to jam with MistaBluesman now and then!

Thanks Again,
