58 years ago, I was fortunate enough to be raised in the same county as the Father of Bluegrass - Bill Monroe (Ohio County, KY)! Yes, No Creek WAS a real place, but you won't find it on ANY map (listen to the "cyclone of 1890 for "details")! I met Bill Monroe at a very early age of 8 at my grandfather's church revival service, got saved, & became "hooked" on traditional/bluegrass/Christian country/gospel EVER since! I have had 2 bands of my own, started my 'musical' career at age 15, & have played bluegrass for almost 30 years here in Tomball! Now retired, & disabled, I still perform weekly at a retirement center EVERY Thursday with the same 'friends' I made almost 30 years ago! , & write songs! Through the Internet, I have had the pleasure of collaborating & co-writing with people from all over the world! So far, these places include England, Canada, Australia, and several states here in the USA! I have also been featured on Internet & FM radio in Canada! An online interview was gladly given to the e-magazine of "Junior's cave", & have won several awards - ranging from honorable mention to 5th place in songwriting contests! Collaborations/co-writes are welcomed in the styles & genres I have indicated! I sincerely hope you enjoy what you hear for, in MY opinion, the 'succeess' of a writer/entertainer/performer is NOT in monetary values (although it WOULD be nice), but IF I have caused a stir in emotion, to shed a joyful tear, or cause a happy smile of approval ,or acceptance to MY music & MY presentation, then, YES, I have succeeded!
