As far as Stereo Skyline goes, I really can't remember where we came from. We came together so quickly and thoughtless, that it almost seemed too good to be true in a way. Even though I can't tell you much about how Stereo Skyline started, I can tell you where we all came from. Between the four of us, we all have the biggest love for music I’ve ever seen. We all came from different backgrounds. As one of our rhythm guitarists and backup vocalists (Matt Villani), bassist (Jason Marotta), came from an alternative/pop-punk background our lead vocalist and other guitarist (Kevin Bard) came from an acoustic scene. Our drummer ( Rob Michelson) Came from a rock back ground. When we first came together as a band, we called it a side project. I never really understood why we called it a project, but I do now. Before the time that we've been together, we've never experimented more with different things like piano with screaming and techno breakdowns; but it was that extra mile we were all willing to push to really see what we were all about. We all realized that this is the point we've been trying to reach for so long while trying to break into the music scene. We would never call ourselves a project anymore. We're much more than that. We've grown with each other to not only a band sense, but a family sense. If we're going anywhere with our music, we're going to together; and we're not stopping until we feel like we've push our limits. Every day is a new experience for us. Every day we learn something new. We just hope that one day we can show the world what we're made of and prove to everyone not to give up on your dreams because nothing is impossible. As for now, we'll keep working our hardest hoping that one day, it'll finally pay off, and recently it did we worked hard and won a spot at the bamboozle on the breakcontest stages.
